The Important Dating Rules that you Should Never Forget!

It can never be said that dating is easy – first dates are nerve wracking and awkward, second dates are even harder to plan and by the third date you are virtually in a relationship! If you are actually planning to get to the third date then there are some rules that you should never ever forget when it comes to dating!

Never ever be late! This not only makes the worst first impression imaginable but also kind of says that you are in no way interested. Admittedly sometimes you can’t actually help being late if work crops up or a train is delayed but the least that you can do is to call or email the very second that you realize you are not going to be on time and reschedule or ask them to wait for you.

Don’t ever turn up looking as though you have been dragged through a garbage can backwards! If you wouldn’t date a person that looks as if they live in the streets how can you expect them to want to date you when you look a mess? The very least that you can do is put a clean t-shirt on and wear jeans that look as if they were purchased in this century. Also never think it is acceptable to turn up to a date in jogging pants. This is not a good look.

Don’t take the date too seriously especially if it is the first. It is OK to ask questions about where your date sees themselves in ten year’s time but it is not OK to ask on their views on marriage, kids, a three story home in the country and what dog breed they want. Especially not on the first date! By all means ask questions but try not to sound like a mental person!

Essential Tips For ‘Safe’ Online Dating

If you are one of the countless singles who turn to online dating agency for meeting new friends and finding a compatible partner, this article can help you understand the do’s and don’ts of the online dating game.

Whether its friendship or dating that brings you to online dating sites, you should proceed with utmost care to maintain your safety on the web. Keep an eye out for certain warning signals when interacting with potential partners. This helps you ascertain their intentions, personality traits and true identity. Safety while online dating is a very important issue to be considered but most people don’t bother to focus on this aspect and end up having bad dating experiences.

Once you have found a prospective date, don’t get too eager in disclosing any information they ask about you. In the beginning, you should keep all communication by email and get to know them steadily. This also gives you time to plan what to say while still maintaining a distance and privacy from a relatively new person in your life. If things go well, you’ll experience the thrill of checking your inbox for new mail everyday!

When your email friendship has been established, you can move to talking on the phone. Before giving out your phone number, make sure that you feel totally comfortable talking to the other person as this step cannot be reverted later on.

Assuming that you have already communicated through email and chatted over the phone, everything’s going fine. Now, you may decide that you really like this person and want to meet up. Don’t get carried away in excitement at this point. The prospect of new love should be preceded by several measures to ensure that your meeting is safe and harmless.

Here are a few important safety tips to make your date a memorable experience:

• Before going for a date, tell a friend about the place and time of your meeting.

• Unless you’re very confident about the other person, its best to avoid giving them personal details like your home address, location, etc.

• Personal financial details are an important part of your privacy. This means you should not give or send out money to someone you barely know, especially a person you just met on an online dating site.

• If you’re meeting outside your city, plan for overnight accommodation and don’t give out information about it to the prospective date.

• Always trust your instincts. If you are uncomfortable about your situation, don’t hesitate or feel embarrassed to make an excuse and end the date.
